Jo Shropshire

Co-Founder &
Managing Director

Tech Lead

Skills developed working across Asia, the Americas and Europe in an international finance career underpin Jo's role as Managing Director. Jo has significant experience working with large corporates and smaller, private clients. She leads on the strategic growth of the business, client relationships and business operations.

As a former banker, Jo has a sound understanding of risk and, as a student of Economics in both the UK and in France, an appreciation for the complexity of allocating finite resources effectively. It was in fact the co-existence of market failures and worsening economic inequality that part precipitated the co-founding of Benesys in 2018. Clear communication, trust and transparency are at its heart.

In her spare time, Jo writes about contemporary South East Asian art, enjoys informal karaoke and fly-fishing.
